Fourth Sunday after Easter 2013

Tuesday, April 30th, 2013

This is a sermon about God's commandment revealed through Jesus to love God, and love our neighbour as Christ loved us. On one hand, this is a simple, easy-to-understand message. Yet it is also a commandment that can be unpacked, explored and sought to be understood for the rest of our lives.

Second Sunday after Easter 2013 - Gerry Green

Monday, April 15th, 2013

Gerry Green teaches us that unlike Saul, God’s call to us may not always come in extraordinary ways. We may be ordinary, and God may have to call us often, but He’s calling us all the same to walk in Jesus’ steps.

First Sunday after Easter 2013 - The Reverend Geoffrey Chapman

Monday, April 8th, 2013

Thomas was an outlier at the beginning and end of his life with Jesus. As a follower of Jesus, he was a critical thinker, constantly questioning and challenging God. At the end of his life, he had been transformed into a missionary, utterly transformed by touching the wounds in Christ's side and hands. We are sometimes called to be "pre-Resurrection" Thomas, challenging and inquiring. Other times, God visits us and calls us to be totally in over our heads. Thomas is for all those Christians on the margins, and Christians totally in over their heads.
