23rd Sunday after Pentecost 2013 - The Reverend Geoffrey Chapman

Monday, October 28th, 2013

We do not live in the modern equivalent of Galilee for many reasons. This sermon begins by exploring the vast gulf which separates our world from the world of Jesus. But we return to that which unites us all, across every generation: our call to follow Jesus. Everyone, regardless of any factor we might wish to separate one from another, can answer God's call to love, to serve, to give, to live as a child of God.

21st Sunday after Pentecost - The Reverend Geoffrey Chapman

Tuesday, October 15th, 2013

This sermon is about that feeling we all seem to feel around Thanksgiving - how grateful are we for all the many blessings we have received, but how terrible is it that not everyone has enough to eat, and not everyone can have the same gifts? Giving thanks and feeling guilt are so often found together.

This sermon is from our 8:30 service. You can find our 10:30 family service sermon on our YouTube page!
